![]() Green Butterfly Pike Streamer Why this name? It goes through the water on it's side and "swims" like a Butterfly. Be alert when this one hits the water. ![]() Red and White Pike Streamer Fun with this one when fished quite fast! Be alert when taking over your fly line for an other fast strip! ![]() Eel Streamer Slowly fished close to the bottom. Give this one some Eel-like movement. The black zonkerstrip is tied upside down. Push the hookpoint through the zonkerstrip and secure it with your thread. On top of the hook shank I have tied in a small leadstrip. From the eyes to half-way the hook shank. This gives the Eel a natural movement through the water when you strip back your line as it should be. Materials Pike Streamers
Bucktail
This fly tying material comes in many colors. From a bucktail skin you can select the
most colored hairs but you can use the back or les colored hairs as well.
The picture shows only parts from a Bucktail skin.
Streamer Feathers
These feathers comes to in many different colors.
Zonkerstrips
If you have zonkerstrips which are a bit to heavy you can split the zonkerstrip with a sharp scissor.
Krinkel Fibers
I use these fibers in the tail and body for volume and because it does not carry so much water. |
